Teacher

Must be able to come on-site to teach, this is not an online position.

- Plan and deliver lessons to students based on the curriculum guidelines and deliver to Principal
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students
- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement educational programs
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities

- Create a safe, nurturing, enjoyable, and stimulating classroom environment for children/youth attending programs

-Engage students in the classroom and during recreation sessions.

-Serve as a role model for other teachers and students

-Work as a team with other staff

-Provide feedback to Principal regarding youth and youth needs.

Experience

• 3 years of experience working with children or youth

• Ability to promote a positive classroom learning environment

• Ability to relate to students and the cultural context in which they are living.

• Completed basic Islamic knowledge courses in an established institution or local mosque. Please provide references

• Must be in good standing with the community.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Attend two session of teachers training.
